Extract Pages from PDF

Pick the pages you need from a PDF and save them as a new file. Click thumbnails or type page numbers. Free, lossless, and the PDF never leaves your device.

Runs in your browser. Your files are never uploaded. How it works

Extract pages from a PDF when you only need part of a document: one chapter of a report, the signed page of a contract, or a few slides from a long deck. Select the pages, and they are saved as a new, smaller PDF. The original file is not changed.

Two ways to choose pages

  • Click thumbnails: every page is shown as a preview. Click to select, click again to deselect.
  • Type page numbers: enter numbers and ranges such as 2, 5-8. Use 10- for page 10 to the end.

Both stay in sync, so you can type a range and then adjust it by clicking.

Examples

You type You get
1 Only the first page
3-5 Pages 3, 4 and 5
1, 4, 9- Page 1, page 4 and page 9 to the last page
-2 Pages 1 and 2

Removing pages

To remove a few pages, click Select all, then click the pages you want to drop, and extract the rest. The new PDF contains everything except those pages.

Frequently asked questions

How do I select several pages at once?

Type them in the Pages to extract box, for example 1-3, 7, 10-12. The matching thumbnails are selected automatically. You can also click thumbnails to add or remove single pages.

In which order are the pages saved?

In their original order in the PDF, from first to last, no matter in which order you clicked them.

Can I delete pages instead?

Select every page you want to keep, then extract them. Select all and then click the pages you do not want is the quickest way.

Is the quality reduced?

No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their resolution.
