Is the quality kept?

Yes. Video is copied unchanged when the new format can hold it (fast and lossless); otherwise it is re-encoded at the bitrate of the original.

Can it convert a GIF to MP4?

Yes, in Chrome, Edge and Firefox. An MP4 is usually far smaller than the GIF and plays smoothly.

Does it convert YouTube links?

No. It converts video files you have on your device.
