This page opens with the background set to White: drop a product photo and the background behind it is replaced with pure white, ready for an online shop, a marketplace listing or a catalogue. Everything runs in your browser, at full resolution, and the photo is never uploaded.
Make a white background in three steps
- Click Choose an image and pick your product photo.
- Wait while the background is removed, then compare Original and Result and check the edges.
- Set Save as to JPG or PNG and click Download. The file is saved as, for example,
sneaker-no-bg.jpg.

Tips for product photos
- Shoot in even light with the product clearly apart from the background. Shadows under the product may be removed together with the background.
- Use Best for objects. Glass, thin wires and see-through parts are the hardest; check them in the result.
- Marketplaces often want a square image with the product filling most of the frame. Use Crop Image after downloading, and Compress Image if the file is too large to upload.
- Need another colour? Change Background to Colour… and pick one.
