Free PDF to Excel converter: tables are found automatically, even in scanned PDFs and images, and saved as XLSX or CSV. No sign-up, nothing uploaded.
Runs in your browser. Your files are never uploaded. How it works
If a table was missed, drag a box around it on the page.
Drag a box around the table
PDF to Excel finds the tables in a PDF and turns them into a spreadsheet you can sort, filter and sum. It also reads scanned PDFs, screenshots and photos of tables. Everything happens in your browser, so financial documents stay on your device.
How to convert a PDF table to Excel
Choose a PDF or an image, or drop it on the page.
Each page is searched for tables. Every table appears as a preview; click a cell to fix it.
Click Download Excel (one sheet per table) or Download CSV. Copy puts a single table on the clipboard, ready to paste into Excel or Google Sheets.

Scanned PDF to Excel
When a page is a scan or a photo, its tables are read with text recognition (OCR) in your browser, so scanned invoices, price lists and statements become editable spreadsheets too. Pick the text language first if it is not English, a European language, Chinese or Japanese, and check the numbers in the preview before you download.
Tips
In a normal PDF (exported from software, Word or a website) the cell text is taken from the PDF itself, so it is exact; the rows and columns are still recognised from the page, so glance over the preview. Scans and photos are read with text recognition: check the numbers.
A table that continues on the next page is joined into one table automatically when the columns line up. Use Split to keep the pages apart, or Join with previous table if a continuation was missed.

Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Tables are found and read in your browser, on your device. Bank statements, invoices and reports never leave it.
Do I have to mark the tables?
No. Every table on every page is found automatically and shown as a preview. Only if one is missed, click Select a table yourself and drag a box around it.
Does it work with scanned PDFs and photos?
Yes. Scans, screenshots and photos of tables are read with text recognition. Pages of a normal PDF use the PDF's own text, which is exact and needs no recognition.
Are merged cells and numbers kept?
Merged cells stay merged in the Excel file. Numbers such as 1,234.50, $1,200, (300) or 12.5% are saved as real numbers, so sums and formulas work; codes like 007 stay text.
How big is the download?
The first time, the table engine (about 19 MB) is downloaded and cached by your browser. Scanned pages and images also need the text recognition engine (about 11 MB more). Your file is never sent anywhere.
Which languages work for scanned tables?
The same as Image to Text. Auto covers English, European languages, Chinese and Japanese; pick Korean, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Thai, Greek, Tamil or Telugu under Text language.
What if a cell is wrong?
Click the cell in the preview and fix it before downloading. Check numbers and amounts from scans before you rely on them.
Do I need an account or an email?
No. There is no sign-up, no email and no daily limit; the conversion runs in your browser.
Can I put the table into Google Sheets?
Yes. Click Copy on a table and paste it into Google Sheets, or download the CSV or Excel file and open it with File, Import.
