Korean OCR reads Hangul in a screenshot, photo or scan and turns it into text you can copy, search or paste into a translator. Korean text often mixes in English words, brand names and numbers; those are read in the same pass. Everything runs in your browser, so the image stays on your device.
What people copy
| From | Why |
|---|---|
| A KakaoTalk or Naver screenshot | Quote a message or search for it |
| A Korean menu or sign | Paste it into a translator |
| A receipt or invoice | Copy amounts and item names |
| A slide or webtoon panel | Turn the text into notes |
Tips
- Hangul with fine strokes reads best from a sharp, straight image; crop away the rest.
- Vertical Korean text is not read; rotate the image so lines run left to right.
- Need the text of a scanned PDF? Use PDF to Text with the same language.
